Apartments complex in Bartow, Fla., has a bit of an identity crisis.

Sep. 1--BARTOW -- Ashley Glen is having an identity crisis. Since May, it has changed from an apartment complex to condominiums to an apartment complex again.

"I think it was too early for Bartow," said Gino Garcia, a part owner in the condo conversion project. "We overstated some of our numbers. We don't think it was the right time."

In May, the 80-unit Bartow apartment complex at 1410 N. Wilson Ave., went on the condo real estate market.

Problem was, there weren't enough buyers.
