THE CLOSING NIGHT audience for the Jennifer Jones-David O. Selznick Film Festival, as a lark, granted three awards.

The festival at the Naro Expanded Cinema in Norfolk completed its series of six films on Monday, having sold more than 2,000 tickets and having proved there is an audience for classic films in the local market.

The festival, hosted by me, your Virginian-Pilot movie critic, showcased the work of Jones and her collaboration with the famed producer Selz nick (creator of "Gone With the Wind" and an unparalleled group ...
