Aug. 26--When Eugene Holliday came to the Tipton County Senior Center almost three years ago, he escaped from his loneliness.

He was 88.

"My friends were all passed away," he said. "I've been living by myself for some time."

Now, Holliday has friends he can spend his time with. He comes to the senior center every week to play cards and get a free lunch.

It works out great for Holliday.

"I don't like to cook all that well," he admitted.

But now his friends are worried.
