THIS is an easy walk mainly along the towpath of the Stratford upon Avon Canal to the attractive village of Wilmcote and to visit Mary Arden's House.
A short detour will take you into delightful Warwickshire countryside and you can then either retrace your steps to the Gower Memorial via the canal towpath or you may choose to return to Stratford by train (except Sundays) or bus.
Start your walk from the Gower Memorial and first circle the Canal Basin in Bancroft Gardens.
Now proceed beneath the canal tunnel to go under ...
