Aug. 22--A civil suit in which a hunter sought compensation for the loss of a champion coonhound that was shot to death has been settled out of court. The Woodford County lawsuit was settled Friday, but coonhound owner Burch Hager of Jessamine County said he could not discuss the terms of the confidential settlement.
