Charles Albert Fischer Jr. a longtime resident of Wheaton Interment will full military honors for Charles Albert Fischer Jr., 90, took place Tuesday morning, Aug. 8, at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, Okla. A memorial service was held that afternoon. Born Nov. 15, 1915, in New York City, the son of Matilda Nylen and Dr. Charles A. Fischer Sr. (a professor of mathematics at Columbia University), he passed away Friday, Aug. 4, 2006, in Tahlequah, Okla.
