The nation commemorated yesterday the 128th birth anniversary of the late President Manuel L. Quezon, with simple rites and activities in various parts of the country.

In Baler, Aurora, the celebration was marked by the unveiling of a bronze statue of the late president, coinciding with the observance of its town fiesta.
