EDEN-- Betty Lou Carter Slaydon, 81, of 2024 Mill Avenue, passed away early Sunday morning, August 13, 2006, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Danview Cemetery.

Mrs. Slaydon was born in Logan County in West Virginia to the late Robert and Maude Farra Carter on June 20, 1925. She was a member of Meadowview United Methodist Church and...
