Two PP-based resins for frozen food applications have been introduced to the North American market by Basell NV, The Netherlands.

Pro-fax EP390S is a high impact, opaque PP copolymer and Clyrell EC140R is transparent polyolefin. In tests carried out by the company, both grades withstood temperatures down to 40[degrees]C (-40[degrees]F).
