Hollandia International, an Israeli company, is betting that discerning Americans will pay $10,000 and up _ way up _ for a cushy mattress and a movable frame.

And it has hired Kanter International, a Philadelphia firm that specializes in business consulting and advertising, not only to spread the word about its beds, but to run Hollandia's U.S. operations as well.
