Dear Editor: This has been an exciting week in Madison! We have been celebrating our longtime affection with Drum Corps International by welcoming them back for the seventh time, as Madison served as the host for DCI's 2006 World Championships.

Since the mid '80s, drum corps have chosen to convene in Madison more than any other U.S. city. Due to organizational changes at Drum Corps International, it may be several years before Madison will have the honor of hosting this fantastic event again. It seemed ...
