Sinochem Corporation and Qinghai Salt Lake Group signed an agreement on July 8th, 2006. According to the agreement, Sinochem Corporation will participate in the deal of investment increase and equity expansion of Qinghai Salt Lake Group. It will hold around 25% equity in Qinghai Salt Lake Group and become its second largest shareholder. The largest shareholder of Qinghai Salt Lake Group is Qinghai State-Owned Assets Investment Management Co., Ltd.
