IT WASN'T a day that Richard Johnson will remember with any relish, for after receiving a knock on the head in a fall from Power Glory in the opening seller, he was stood down for the rest of the day and missed three winners. He will also miss his rides at Newton Abbot today.

Tom O'Brien proved an able substitute on two of his intended rides, Sakenos and Irish Wolf, while Paddy Brennan picked up the winning ride on Tommy Spar.
