ROBIN BASTIMAN envisages his stable star Borderlescott being aimed at the Ayr Gold Cup next month after his thrilling victory in the Vodafone Stewards' Cup at Goodwood on Saturday, writes David Lawrence.

The four-year-old came out of the race in "grand form" but will be given a short break, with his trainer keen to restrict him to a light campaign for the rest of this season.
