Aug. 3--CHICAGO -- Purdue football coach Joe Tiller believes college football should remain just that -- college football.
That's why Tiller is against the newest rule change under which on a change of possession, the game clock will begin running when the referee signals play ready as opposed to when the ball is snapped. The clock also will start when the ball is kicked off as opposed to when it is touched by the receiving team.
