PROJECT OVERVIEW
The local SAUDI KAYAN recently awarded an olefins plant construction contract to US-based KELLOGG BROWN & ROOT. (KBR). According to the terms of the award, KBR will be responsible for the provision of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services.
Construction plans call for building a complex with an installed production capacity of 1,350,000 tons per year. In so ding, the new facility, of undisclosed cost, will be built at SAUDI KAYAN's cracker complex in the Jubail Industrial City.
