Jul. 25--NAKHON RATCHASIMA -- Jim Thompson would have been proud. The company he founded over five decades ago to peddle hand-woven Thai silk to foreign tourists at The Oriental Hotel has been transformed into a 2.15-billion-baht business, with more than 40 retail outlets worldwide and a production site covering 600 rai in Pak Thong Chai, Nakhon Ratchasima.
