The water level of Kenya's second-largest lake, Lake Naivasha, has dropped by around three metres in the past 30 years, according to new research by an Earthwatch scientist.
Located 100 kilometres northwest of Nairobi, the lake is a haven for wildlife and a major source of water for agriculture, power stations and the lakeside's rapidly growing population.
