Senepols keep their cool. (cattle)

Andrew C. Hammond and Tim A. Olson, working at the Agricultural Research Service's Subtropical Agricultural Research Station, conducted a three-year study to determine the comparative heat tolerance of Senepol, Angus, Hereford and Brahman cattle. They found that Senapols can tolerate heat better than the other breeds. The results provide cattle growers living in subtropical areas a breeding alternative to Brahmans.
