It's been a while, but Michael Jackson finally received some good news. A federal jury in Los Angeles recently ruled that Jackson did not steal the songs The Girl Is Mine, Thriller, and We Are The World.
The nine-member federal jury indicated that there was little resemblance between the works of the two who filed the suit, Reynaud Jones and Robert Smith, and the three hit songs.
Jones and Smith, identified as childhood neighbors of the Jackson family in Gary, IN, alleged that parts of works they put together ended up in the three songs.
