According to hagiographical tradition, Saint Praxedis (d.c. 160 CE; feast day, July 21) and Saint Prudentiana (d.c. 160 CE; feast day, May 19) were sisters, two Roman virgins living in the second century during the height of Christian persecutions. They were supposedly the daughters of Saints Claudia and Pudens, a Roman senator, martyr, and son of Saint Priscilla, and sisters of Saints Timotheus and Novatus (d.c. 151 CE), both martyrs.
