    NEW YORK, Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Pharmos Corporation (NASDAQ: PARS) announced today that it has successfully completed a Phase II clinical trial on 60 patients with glaucoma using Pharmos' proprietary SubMicron Emulsion (SME) formulation of pilocarpine, known as Pilocarpine-SME, Standard pilocarpine treatment involves four applications of eyedrops daily and results in side effects leading to patient non-compliance. Pharmos' SubMicron Emulsion formulation of pilocarpine is designed for the slow release of the drug, allowing for twice a day application of these eyedrops with ...
