Rates cops concerns.(News)

I was greatly alarmed to read in The Independent on Saturday 24 June that the data collectors for the rate valuation roll will be taking photographs of properties.

Apart from this being a violation of one's constitutional right to privacy it greatly increases the risk of exposure to criminal activity. It is all well and good to say that the data collectors have been carefully selected, but as we all know, there is widespread corruption in government services.
