THE 250 data collectors who have been knocking on thousands of doors in some sections of the eThekwini Metropolitan Council inspecting properties for rates evaluation purposes have been well received.

eThekwini Municipality treasury official Kevin Meyer said the aim was to visit every site, and the public would be kept informed as to when the data collectors would be in a specific area - including the townships.

He said site inspections had been structured in accordance with a work programme, and so far, the inspections had gone well without any ...
