Jun. 7--GATX Corp.'s American Steamship Co. subsidiary paid $120 million Tuesday to acquire six Great Lakes freighters from Oglebay Norton Co., boosting its fleet of U.S.-flagged "lakers" to an industry leading 18 vessels.
