Toni Morrison uses a parabolic form to reintegrate the Afro-American presence in US history in her novel 'Sula.' Recognizing that US history does not recognize the influence of blacks, especially in terms of their influence on Christianity, Morrison adopts the parabolic approach to give historical weight to her revisionism.
