MARCUS TREGONING advised punters yesterday to hold fire with Irish Derby bets on Sir Percy as he was more likely to "follow the Nashwan route" and take on his seniors in the Coral- Eclipse the following weekend, writes Rodney Masters.
"At this stage we're leaning 60-40 in favour of Sandown," said the trainer as he paraded the Derby winner before 300 guests at Kingwood House Stables in Lambourn during a celebration party.
