Jun. 5--Winning a 5K race is nothing new for James Uthmeier.

But what was different about Saturday night's 32nd annual Billy Bowlegs 5K run was that Uthmeier wasn't planning on running in the event -- until 45 minutes beforehand.

Sleeping at home after an afternoon shift at his job waiting tables, Uthmeier was woken up by his sister, Julia, and told to get ready to run.
