Two hundred invited guests will honor Blanche Maier, chair emeritus of the Cincinnati Ballet, for her service to the company.

The special dinner party will take place Thursday at River High, the residence of Melody Sawyer Richardson, Cincinnati Ballet trustee emeritus. Proceeds from the celebration will benefit the Cincinnati Ballet.

The Maier Family, owners of Frisch's Restaurants Inc., has sponsored the Cincinnati Ballet's production of "The Nutcracker" for 30 years.
