COMPETITIVE fishing on one of the country's most revered trout lochs is to end - after hundreds of cormorants decimated stocks.
Loch Leven in Kinross-shire will no longer be stocked after [pounds sterling]500,000 worth of fish were lost.
Jamie Montgomery, whose family has owned Kinross Estates for 200 years, said yesterday it is no longer viable to keep open the fishery on the 'Queen of Scottish Lochs'.
