Virtually every segment of the mining industry is red-hot, and the food handling and agriculture sectors are going strong, too.

That's just perfect for Ram Enterprise Inc., a diversified rubber product manufacturer and fabricator that serves those markets. In the last three to four months its operation in Portland, Ore., has added a dozen or so employees, while its material handling unit expanded its operation with additional equipment, trucks and workers during the last year.
