I always look forward to Glamorgan's visits to Swansea as it was at St Helen's where my love of cricket blossomed. At the age of 10 Swansea was my first cricket club and I have very fond memories of the ground as I grew up. It's changed over the years with the bank on the city side of the ground having been removed a few years ago. And I haven't been there since the big rugby grandstand was knocked down and replaced with a smaller one.

St Helen's has its critics, but for me, it has an important part to play in Glamorgan's fixture list.
