May 31--BEEVILLE -- Due to severe drought, Beeville will be the site of one of the most historic Beefmaster sales ever.

The Laura and Marvin Berry Beefmaster herd will be sold Sunday at the Beeville Livestock Commission Inc. The Berry family has been breeding Beefmasters for 40 years with ranches in San Patricio and McMullen counties.

The sale, which will start at 1 p.m., will consist of more than 600 head of high quality Beefmaster cattle, making it one of the largest Beefmaster sales in history, according ...
