The government of Chad has pushed back plans to stop production at an Exxon Mobilled oil project in the African country.
Chad's government has delayed until the end of April a deadline for shutting off oil output as a result of a disagreement with the World Bank over frozen oil royalties. Chadian President Idriss Deby had originally set an Apr. 18 deadline to shut in oil production (OD Apr.17,p5).
