Actress Halle Berry, glamorous star of television and screen, was recently hit with a lawsuit by a Chicago dentist charging he lent the starlet $80,000 and she has not repaid the loan.

Dr. John Ronan had a two-year romance with Berry and the funds were used to help launch her career when she left Chicago for New York, according to news accounts. In a suit filed in U.S. District Court in Chicago, Dr. John Ronan, charges "between the inclusive dates of March of 1989 and October of 199l," the Plaintiff loaned to the Defendant the sum of $80,000."
