May 26--DALTON, Ga. -- As the U.S. Senate lined up Thursday to approve far-reaching federal immigration legislation, many Dalton residents seem unfazed by the Hispanic population around them -- legal or not.
Jessica Ogle, a student at Dalton State College, said it would be good to put illegal immigrants on a path to citizenship, citing a concern that some of them may not pay taxes.
