The annual church service of Sir John Johnson Centennial Branch UELAC was held in St. James the Apostle Anglican Church in Stanbridge East, Quebec, on 18 October 2005. The Venerable Archdeacon Peter Hannen, who is a member of Heritage Branch, conducted the service that highlighted Loyalist history. Special mention was made of the UELAC Annual Convention, held at Bishop's University in Lennoxville in 1989, when Prince Philip was the honoured guest.

After the service the fifty-one distinguished guests, members and friends enjoyed a delicious dinner in the church hall. Those ...
