GOOD Hope Social Club is set to be bulldozed for car parking places unless the Hospital Trust listen to a last minute plea from the club committee.

The popular social club will be repossessed on August 1 if the club committee's business plan falls on deaf on ears at the debt ridden trust.

Andy Bampton, vice chairman of the club committee, said: "I got the feeling from the meeting that people don't count as much as cars.

"The Trust said we should outline our compromise ideas in the plan, which we intend to do, but they said they have only had one letter about this ...
