May 25--BUCKEYSTOWN -- The Inn at Buckeystown, which has earned many accolades for its ambiance and service, is on the market.

The inn, at 3521 Buckeystown Pike, was built in 1897, has nine guest rooms, more than two acres of land and is filled with antique furniture.

The inn is offered at two sale prices -- $1,449,300 with the furnishings, $1,249,300 without furnishings.

"I hope someone will continue it as a bed and breakfast, but it could be a private residence," said Janet Wells, who bought the inn in 1998 for $393,750.
