On the mound, or on the long, slow walk back to the dugout, let there no longer be any doubt: Matt Clement wears the bull's eye.
So it was at Fenway Park last night, where Clement was physically, figuratively and emotionally battered in the Red Sox' 8-6 loss to the New York Yankees. First, Clement took one off the ankle. Then he took it on the chin. Then he had his ego trampled on by a customary sellout crowd that seemed only half as frustrated as he did.
