May 25--Every bloviator in the discourse biz, from journalists and theologians to political pundits, have poked, prodded and analyzed every teensy aspect of the controversial box office monster ($231.8 million worldwide gross in its first five days) The Da Vinci Code.

Or have they? Few, if any, scriveners have dealt with the Albino Factor. Code author Dan Brown and filmmaker Ron Howard have given us a bad guy, Silas, who's not only a sharpshooting, self-flagellating, sadomasochistic assassin and religious fanatic -- but an albino one.
