Owen Pritchard, associate with the industrial team of Knight Frank, assesses the performance of the South Wales industrial property sector THE first quarter of 2006 has seen a hive of activity in the industrial property sector in South Wales with a number of sizeable transactions concluded.

Towards the end of 2005 Bridgend experienced a number of disappointments including the closure of the Sony TV production plant, DIA Plastics and the demise of Christie Tyler bringing in excess of 1.5m sq ft of floor space to the market.
