Opera in Concert got the year off to an innovative start with the Canadian premiere of La Griselda (Jan. 29), one of almost four dozen operas composed by Antonio Vivaldi. Produced in 1735, this is one of the composer's later operas (and one of the few to survive almost intact), written to a libretto by Apostolo Zeno and revised by Carlo Goldoni.
