Auburn -- The SUNY Cortland baseball team knew it would be futile to try to ignore the proverbial target on its back after last spring's second-place finish in the Division III World Series.

So this spring, the Red Dragons faced their demons by putting a literal target on their backs - on their team practice T-shirts - as the symbol of the challenge for this year.
