May 18--Elbit Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESLT; TASE: ESLT) is maintaining its momentum. After publishing its financial report for the first quarter of 2006 earlier this week, the company today announced that Vision Systems International LLC (VSI), its joint venture with Rockwell Collins (NYSE: COL) has signed new contracts worth $80 million.

Elbit Systems said Boeing (NYSE: BA) had awarded VSI a contract to deliver 400 additional Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing Systems (JHMCS). VSI also received direct contracts from the US Navy and Air Force for spares and ...
