Flight Deck Resources (FDR) has been awarded a contract from Horizon Air to provide the regional airline with a complete Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) solution and ground update system for its entire fleet.

According to the company, the EFB solution will enable Horizon to realise significant cost savings and operational benefits associated with automating both flight deck and cabin management operations, while utilising real-time data link capabilities in flight and on the ground.
