The 80 000 t/a electrolytic aluminum project in Jinneng Group New East Aluminum Co., Ltd. started production on April 14th. It shows that the aluminum industry in Taiyuan has made breakthrough advances.

The company produced nearly 20 000 tons of electrolytic aluminum ingot in 2005 and the production/sales ratio reached 100%. The sales revenue that year reached more than RMB282 million.
