After a couple of rough correction days, the corn market is trying to regain its bullish bias. Some large trading funds came into the market late and bought corn. The cited reason is the continued expansion of ethanol production through the corn production regions. We continue to believe the USDA ethanol usage is under estimated by 30% and eventually will be improved from 1.7 billion to 2.1 billion before the end of the 2006 season. Even with this tremendous demand growth, carryover will still be around 1.75 to 1.85 range, which is still adequate ...
