Gissarneftegaz to launch oil and gas project in Uzbekistan in June
TASHKENT. May 16 (Interfax) - The Uzbek-Swiss joint venture Gissarneftegaz in June will begin carrying out a $400 million project to explore and develop oil and gas fields in Uzbekistan, Ulmaskamal Abdazimov, first deputy general director of the joint venture, told journalists at the opening of the Oil and Gas - OGU 2006 exhibition in Tashkent on Tuesday.
