Fairness demands repeal of tax

Forum columnist James Martin got it right in his estate tax article. The bottom line is that the estate tax taxes money a second time. Even though this is not the only instance in which we do this (for example, the sales tax does the same thing), it is still tax abuse and is fundamentally wrong.
